Abstract
"MÉTODO E ESTRUTURAS DE HASTE PARA MODULAÇÃO INTERFEROMÉTRICA". Um modulador interferométrico inclui uma estrutura de haste compreendendo um elemento óptico. Em uma modalidade preferida, o elemento óptico na estrutura de haste é um elemento refletor, por exemplo, um espelho. Em outra modalidade, o elemento óptico na estrutura de haste é um etalon, por exemplo, um etalon escuro. O elemento óptico na estrutura de haste pode reduzir a quantidade de luz que seria de outra forma retro refletida a partir da estrutura de haste. Em várias modalidades, o elemento óptico na estrutura de haste aumenta o brilho do modulador interferométrico redirecionando a luz para o interior da cavidade interferométrica. Por exemplo, em certas modalidades, o elemento óptico na estrutura de haste aumenta a iluminação traseira do modulador interferométrico.
