Esta forma de cristal de artemisinina possui solubilidade aquosa maior, razão de dissolução maior e biodisponibilidade aperfeiçoada. Os cristais triclínicos podem ser usados na preparação de uma forma de dosagem sólida farmacêutica, oral, para uso como droga antimalária.
