Abstract
Patente de Invenção de "PROCESSO PARA AJUSTE DO FORMATO DA CÓRNEA DE UM OLHO E ANEL CORNEAL INTRA-ESTROMÁTICO" . O anel corneal intra-estromático (ACI) (47) da invenção tem um corpo preferivelmente circular, flexível dimensionado e configurado de tal modo que pode ser inserido em um olho humano e compreendido de um material o qual é compatível com o tecido ocular humano. As porções de extremidade (48 e 49) do corpo circular sobrepõem-se mutuamente e são formados em várias configurações ou modalidades diferentes. As porções de extremidade (48e 49) são configuradas preferivelmente de tal modo que quando a união das mesmas é permitida elas engatam-se entre si e proporcionam um anel com um perfil externo liso e contínuo.
