Abstract
Patente de Invenção de "PROCESSO PARA AJUSTE DO FORMATO DA CÓRNEA DE UM OLHO E ANEL CORNEAL INTRA-ESTROMÁTICO". Anel corneal intra-estromático (ACI) (47) é ajustável em espessura e tem um corpo alongado, flexível preferivelmente transparente ou translúcido que forma um círculo. A espessura pode ser ajsutada antes da inserção na córnea e pode não ser adicionalmente ajustável após inserção. Em modalidades preferidas, a espessura do ACI pode ser ajustada após inserção para ajustar mais precisamente o formato da córnea (12) e focalizar a luz entrando no olho sobre a retina (18).
