Abstract
USO DE LEPTINA NA PREPARAÇÃO DE UMA COMPOSIÇÃO PASSÍVEL DE INGESTÃO POR CRIANÇAS E COMPOSIÇÃO CONTENDO A MESMA. A presente invenção se refere ao uso de leptina na preparação de uma composição passível de ingestão por crianças, da idade lactente à adolescência, compreendendo leptina numa concentração superior a 50 ng/kg, para prevenção de excesso de peso corporal e/ou complicações associadas. A invenção compreende o uso de leptina recombinante, total ou parcialmente hidrolisada. A dita composição passível de ingestão é um suplemento para nutrição de desenvolvimento, contém entre 0,1 e 30 microgramas/litro de leptina, proporciona uma dose diária de leptina de mais de 25 ng e pode se apresentar na forma sólida, isto é, de um comprimido, cápsula ou pó reconstituível, ou na forma liquida, isto é, xarope ou bebida.
