BASE LIVRE DE LERCANIDIPINA. A invenção fornece base livre de lercanidipina substancialmente pura, que tem uma pureza de pelo menos 95%, preferivelmente pelo menos cerca de 97%, mais preferivelmente pelo menos cerca de 99%, e ainda mais preferivelmente pelo menos cerca de 99,5%. A base livre de lercanidipina da presente invenção é formada como um sólido amorfo que é facilmente manuseado e particularmente bem adequado para a formulação de composições farmacêuticas.
