Abstract
REDUÇÃO METALOTÉRMICA DE ÓXIDOS DE METAL REFRATÁRIOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de um pó de metal refratário por (A) que combina (i) um componente de pelota de óxido e (ii) um agente redutor; (B) forma uma mistura substancialmente uniforme de (1) e (ii); (C) alimenta continuamente um forno com a mistura; (D) inflama a mistura em uma zona de reação e inicia uma reação que seja suficientemente exotérmica para formar um fulgor de alta temperatura; (E) inicia uma reação que seja suficientemente exotérmica para formar um fulgor de alta temperatura auto-sustentável; e (F) produz um pó de óxido reduzido que escoa livremente.
