A presente invenção refere-se a, de modo geral, compostos que antagonizam certos receptores de sabor T2R, incluindo usos, métodos e composições relacionados para a redução de sabor amargo e/ou aumento de sabor doce. Em certos aspectos, a invenção oferece artigos aromatizados ou composições aromatizadas compreendendo tais compostos, bem como usos de tais compostos para reduzir o sabor amargo e/ou realçar o sabor doce de tais artigos aromatizados ou composições aromatizadas.
