Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PURIFICAÇÃO DE MELAMINA A invenção se refere a um processo para purificação de melamina no qual a melamina impura é aquecida a uma faixa de temperatura acima de 325°C, porém inferior ao ponto de fusão da melamina que depende da pressão de amônia prevalecente. Além disso, a melamina impura é mantida na faixa de temperatura sob uma pressão de amônia variando de 100 KPa a 15.000 KPa por uma duração de 1 minuto até 20 horas. A melamina é fornecida na forma sólida. Após isto, a melamina é liberada da pressão e resfriada em qualquer ordem.
