Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR MELAMINA". Processo para preparar melamina por meio de pirólise de uréia em um processo de alta pressão, no qual uréia é reagida junto com NH~ 3~ para dar melamina e o fundido de melamina formado é introduzido junto com uréia adicional em um reator de resfriamento, com o fundido sendo resfriado para uma temperatura a qual é 1 - 50 C, preferencialmente 1 - 30 C, acima do ponto de fusão da melamina, a qual é dependente da pressão de NH3 prevalecente. A introdução de NH3 em contracorrente pressiona para fora o CO~ 2~ formado, após o que o fundido de melamina é elaborado em qualquer modo adequado.
