Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROMOTOR DE BMP-4 HUMANO E MÉTODO PARA EXPLORAR SUBSTÂNCIA RELACIONADA A OSSO PELO USO DO MESMO" . A presente invenção provê um método para explorar compostos de baixo peso molecular os quais regulam positivamente ou negativamente a expressão de BMP-4 humano com relação a uma atividade repórter usando o gene da região a montante 5' contendo o promotor BMP-4 humano e uma célula animal introduzida com um vetor de expressão recombinante que foi conectado a um gene repórter adequado. Os compostos de baixo peso molecular e seus derivados obtidos por meio do presente método têm atividade morfogenética ou atividade inibidora para ossos e cartilagens através da expressão do BMP-4 humano e são úteis como agentes terapêuticos para doenças ósseas e cartilaginosas.
