Abstract
"PORTA DE AIRBAG INTEGRAL E MÉTODO DE FABRICAÇÃO" Um conjunto de cobertura de air bag (10) compreende uma porta de air bag de plástico flexível (10) com uma protuberância (60) em sua borda externa coincidindo com um recesso (62) na borda interna de um retentor (12) para bloquear o movimento ascendente e descendente. Silicone pode ser pulverizado para reduzir a aderência entre a porta (14) e o retentor (12) se ambos forem de plástico. A porta (14) inclui um flange articulado flexível (46) que se estende a partir de uma superfície de porta interna e anexa a porta (14) à estrutura do veículo (48). Um inserto de aço (50) pode ser incluído na porta (14) para adicionar rigidez. O conjunto (10) é construído por moldagem de material de retentor fundido em uma cavidade de molde que contém a porta (14).
