A invenção diz respeito a um dispositivo expansível para implantação num local de interesse de um lúmen de um corpo e inclui um corpo tubular (10), elástico, geralmente flexível, tendo extremidades abertas e uma estrutura de parede lateral porosa aberta fina e uma camada de revestimento relativamente fina sobre o corpo tubular, incluindo um material elastomérico bioestável incorporando uma quantidade de material biologicamente ativo nele disperso para fornecimento a partir dele em tempo determinado.
