Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "DISPOSITIVO DE ANGIOPLASTIA". A presente invenção diz respeito a um dispositivo de angioplastia (10) que é formado por um tubo metáoico oco (20), por um balão (30) fixado junto à extremidade distal do tubo (20) e em comunicação de fluido com o lúmen (22) do tubo (20), um segmento distal flexível ligado à extremidade distal do tubo e por uma luva amovível (40) ligada adjacente à extremidade proximal do tubo (20). O tubo (20) é de preferência formado de um material superelástico, como por exemplo uma liga de níquel-titânio. A presente invenção também diz respeito a vários métodos de utilização deste dispositivo de angioplastia (10).
