Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "CATETER DE CORPO COM RIGIDEZ VARIÁVEL". A presente invenção diz respeito a um dispositivo médico, como por exemplo um cateter (10), tendo um tubo proximal rígido (21), de preferência metálico. Na parte distal do tubo proximal pode encontrar-se formada uma pluralidade de perfurações ou fendas destinadas a aumentar a sua flexibilidade. Isto proporciona uma suave transição entre o relativamento rígido tubo proximal e um tubo polimérico distal (22) mais flexível.
