Patente de Invenção de "PROCESSO PARA BENEFICIAR MATERIAL CONTENDO TITÂNIO" . Processo aperfeiçoado para beneficiar um material contendo titânio que compreende as etapas de calcinar de forma redutiva o material contendo titânio seguido pela lixiviação em um agente de lixiviação de ácido mineral, em que o aperfeiçoamento compreende submeter o material contendo titânio a um tratamento térmico em uma solução aquosa de um ácido mineral para remover impurezas de radionuclídeo antes da calcinação redutiva.
