Abstract

Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO PARA EVITAR O ESFARELAMENTO DE METAL NA REDUÇÃO DIRETA DE MATERIAIS QUE CONTÊM ÓXIDO DE FERRO". Trata-se de um processo de redução direta para materiais contendo óxido de ferro. O gás de síntese é misturado com gás recolhido do topo produzido durante a redução direta de materiais contendo óxido de ferro e é usado como gás redutor para reduzir diretamente materiais contendo óxido de ferro. Para evitar ou reduzir o esfarelamento de metal causado por um teor maior de CO de gás redutor com um equipamento e técnica simples, a razão de CO/CO~ 2~ do gás redutor é ajustada a um valor predeterminado de 1 a 3.
