Patente de Invenção: "ESTERÓIDES ESTRENO COMO INICIADORES NEUROQUÍMICOS DE MUDANÇA EM FUNÇÃO HIPOTALÂMICA HUMANA E COMPOSIÇÕES FARMACÊUTICAS RELACIONADAS E PROCESSOS." A invenção refere-se a um processo de alterar a função hipotalâmica em um individuo. O processo compreende a adiministração nasal de um semioquímico humano, por exemplo um esteróide estreno, ou uma composição farmacêutica contendo um esteróide estreno, de modo que o ligano semioquímico se liga a um recptor neuroepitelial específico. O esteroide é preferivelmente adminstrado na forma de uma composição farmacêutica contendo um ou mais veículos farmaceuticamente aceitáveis. Outras formas de realização da invenção incluem composições farmacêuticas contendo os esteróides.
