Abstract
MÉTODO PARA PRODUZIR UMA LENTE DE ÓCULOS SEM ARO, DISPOSITIVO PARA USO NO POLIMENTO DE UMA SUPERFÍCIE INTERNA DE UM FURO DE SONDAGEM, E, FERRAMENTA ABRASIVA São descritos um método e aparelho para melhorar o desempenho de lentes de óculos sem aro. Um fio abrasivo é provido para polir furos de sondagem que são feitos nas lentes. O fio abrasivo inclui um substrato do fio com partículas abrasivas embutidas ao longo de seu comprimento. O fio e partículas são dimensionados para passar através do furo de sondagem e permitir espaço para realizar uma operação de polimento macio. Pelo polimento de microtrincas formadas durante a perfuração, a propagação que leva à falha da lente que surge do uso dos óculos pode ser reduzida.
