"MÉTODO DE CONFIGURAÇÃO DE UM CONJUNTO DE MOLDE PARA MOLDAGEM POR INJEÇÃO-COMPRESSÃO DE UMA LENTE". A invenção refere-se a uma configuração de estrutura e método pertinente para executar uma operação de injeção-compressão do tipo de cunhagem. A invenção é útil na moldagem de lentes, uma vez que lentes têm diferentes espessuras em vários pontos. Um pilar de elevação de duas partes é configurado para prover ligeira compressão axial durante alta pressão de injeção. O pilar de elevação também provê uma conveniente superfície de montagem próxima à linha de separação para instalar insertos em várias alturas.
