COMPOSIÇÕES, SEU USO E KIT COMPREENDENDO AS MESMAS, BEM COMO MÉTODO DE HIBRIDIZAÇÃO IN SITU PARA A DETECÇÃO DE ABERRAÇÕES CROMOSSÔMICASA presente invenção refere-se a composições e métodos para a detecção de sequências de ácido nucleico associadas com aberrações cromossômicas. A invenção pode, por exemplo, eliminar o uso de, ou reduzir a dependência de formamida em hibridização. Composições para uso na invenção incluem uma composição aquosa compreendendo pelo menos uma sequência de ácido nucleico e pelo menos um solvente aprótico polar em uma quantidade eficaz para desnaturar sequências de nucleotídeo de filamento duplo.
