Abstract
PRESERVATIVO COM AGENTE ATIVO LOCALIZADOA presente invenção refere-se a preservativos e métodos de fabricá-los e utilizá-los, tais preservativos possuindo uma camada elastomérica e uma gotÃcula de cera de baixo ponto de fusão a qual contém um ingrediente ativo misturado na mesma, nas quais a gotÃcula é afixada na superfÃcie interior da camada elastomérica na ponta do preservativo. Os ingredientes ativos podem incluir espermicidas tais como o nonoxinol-9 e vasodilatadores tais como a niacina, o citrato de sildenafila e a nitroglicerina, além de agentes desensibilizantes masculinos tais como a benzocaÃna. A gotÃcula pode consistir em uma cera natural em combinação com polietilenoglicol ou pode consistir em uma cera à base de polietilenoglicol. A superfÃcie exterior da camada elastomérica é substancialmente livre do ingrediente ativo.
