Abstract
ENVOLTÃRIOS PARA ARTIGOS DE FUMO TENDO DIFUSÃO REDUZIDA CONDUZINDO ÃS CARACTERÃSTICAS DE PREDISPOSIÃÃO à IGNIÃÃO REDUZIDAArtigos de fumo tendo caracterÃsticas de predisposição de ignição reduzidas são divulgados. Os artigos de fumo incluem um envoltório compreendendo fibras celulósicas e um enchimento. De acordo com a presente divulgação, o enchimento tem um tamanho de partÃcula de pelo menos aproximadamente 3,2 micra e está presente no elvoltório em uma quantidade de menos que aproximadamente 20% em peso. Adicionalmente, o envoltório pode ter um peso base de menos que aproximadamente 23 g/m2 e uma permeabilidade de aproximadamente 15 Coresta a aproximadamente 110 Coresta. Descobriu-se que tais envoltórios são capazes de reduzir as caracterÃsticas de predisposição de ignição de um artigo de fumo. Se desejado, o envoltório particular como descrito acima pode também conter áreas distintas tratadas com uma composição de redução de ignição que ainda serve para reduzir as caracterÃsticas de predisposição de ignição do artigo.
