Abstract
"ENVOLTÓRIO DE PAPEL PARA REDUÇÃO DA TAXA DE QUEIMA DE CIGARRO". É provido um processo para reduzir a taxa de queima de um artigo para fumar. Especificamente, a taxa de queima é reduzida por incorporação ao envoltório de papel de um artigo para fumar, de uma carga (por exemplo, carbonato de cálcio precipitado) possuindo um tamanho de partícula médio superior a cerca de 2,5 micra. Por exemplo, tais envoltórios de papel formados de acordo com a presente invenção, tipicamente possuem um índice de Condutância de Difusão (DCI) inferior a cerca de 15 cm^ -1^ e uma Taxa de Queima Estática (SBR) inferior a cerca de 5 milímetros por minuto.
