Injetor de combustivel com amortecimento mecânico. Um injetor de combustivel (1) fornecido com: uma válvula de injeção (7) compreendendo um bocal de injeção (3); uma agulha móvel (17) para ajustar o fluxo do combustível através da válvula de injeção (7) e terminando em um cabeçote de fechamento (20) que encaixa um assento de válvula (18) da válvula de injeção (7); um acionador (6) para deslocar a agulha (17) entre uma posição fechada e uma posição aberta da válvula de injeção (7); um elemento detentor (25) que constitui um curso de extremidade superior da agulha (17) e define a posição aberta; e um dispositivo de amortecimento mecânico (26) que é interposto entre a agulha (17) e o elemento detentor (25) e que é adaptado para gerar sobre a agulha (17) uma força elástica que se opõe ao movimento da agulha (17) em direção à posição aberta quando a agulha (17) está em proximidade ao elemento detentor (25).
