Abstract
SISTEMA E MÉTODO DE CONDICIONAMENTO DE GASES RESPIRATÓRIOS. A presente invenção se refere a um sistema e método de condicionamento de gás respiratório. O sistema inclui uma ramificação de inalação (IB), uma ramificação de exalação (EB), um permutador de calor e humidade (HME) com pouco espaço morto (50) e um conector (70) para conectar as ramificações (IB, EB) em um doente (PZ) O sistema (100) é definido por o HME (50) ficar localizado próximo a um ventilador (60); e um reservatório de água (RS) ficar localizado a montante do HME (50) para enriquecer com humidade o gás exalado pelo doente (PZ) à medida que este flui ao longo da ramificação de exalação (EB).
