Abstract
MASSA À PROVA DE FOGO PARA O REVESTIMENTO DE UM RECIPIENTE METALÚRGICO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma massa à prova de fogo para o revestimento de um reservatório metalúrgico, tal como, por exemplo, de um distribuidor (em inglês tundish) ou de uma caldeira de fundição, sendo que a massa à prova de fogo consiste principalmente em uma matéria-prima ou mistura de matéria-prima, que é combinável ou colável por um adesivo termicamente ativável, em que o adesivo é um ácido carboxílico, especialmente um ácido hidroxicarboxílico ou uma mistura de diferentes ácidos carboxílicos.
