Abstract
"CORPOS INSERIDOS PARA RECIPIENTES INTERMEDIÁRIOS". A invenção refere-se a uma almofada de impacto para proteger a superfície de impacto contra a qual o fluxo de fundição se choca num recipiente metalúrgico, particularmente em um recipiente intermediário para fundição contínua, com paredes limitadoras que circundam a área de impacto e que, em conjunto com a superfície de impacto, formam uma cuba. A almofada de impacto (4, 104, 204, 304, 404) possui uma cobertura (4d, 104d, 204d, 304d, 404d, 6, 7, 8) que fecha a cuba no lado superior. A referida cobertura pode ser parcialmente destruída pelo fluxo de fundição (3, 503) quando este atinge a almofada de impacto (4, 104, 204, 304, 404).
