Abstract
ANTAGONISTA DE CCR5 E SEUS USOS. A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de um antagonista de CCR5 em um paciente infectado por HIV para realçar sua reconstituição imune e desse modo tratar condições oportunistas relacionadas com o HIV resultantes do estado imunocomprometido do paciente de HIV. A invenção também permite tratamento com um antagonista de CCR5 de pacientes tendo um CXCR4 utilizando população viral visto que tais pacientes também se beneficiarão de um aumento em sua contagem de célula CD4 e/ou CD8.
