Abstract
MÉTODO EFICIENTE PARA PREPARAÇÃO DE (S)-3-[(1-DIMETILAMINO)ETIL]-FENIL-N-ETIL-N-METIL-CARBAMATO, A presente invenção se relaciona a um método para preparação de fenilcarbamato substituido e sais farmaceuticamente aceitáveis derivados, que sejam de atual interesse farmacêutico. O fenilcarbamato substituido e os sais farmaceuticamente aceitáveis derivados são úteis para aumentar a atividade colinérgica no sistema nervoso central e útil no tratamento de doenças tais como mal de Alzheimer, síndrome de Down, Doença de Huntington (Dança de São Guido), Ataxia de Friedrich etc. (S)-3-[(1 -dimetilamino)etil]-fenil-N-etil-N-metil-carbamato (1) é o ingrediente ativo da composição farmacêutica referida em US 5.602.176. Este composto também é usado para induzir a atividade de inibição seletiva da acetilcolinesterase no cérebro.
