Abstract
"USO DE UM PRODUTO DE AMIDO INIBIDO OU RETICULADO". A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de um amido que é encadeado ou inibido para controlar e/ou regular o nível de glicose no sangue de mamíferos e a absorção pós-refeições. Tais amidos quimicamente modificados, quando adequadamente formulados em alimentos, podem ser usados para propiciar o consumidor com glicose durante um período de tempo prolongado e níveis mais constantes de glicose.
