"PLATAFORMA MARÍTIMA DE GRAVIDADE". Trata-se de uma plataforma marítima destinada a exploração petrolífera em alto mar. Essa plataforma se constitui em uma estrutura de concreto armado e protendido, possuindo duas abas (5) rigidamente engastada ao flutuante (1), sobre o flutuante (1) um segundo flutuante (2) segmentado em quatro flutuantes menores, o mesmo ocorrendo com os flutuantes (3) e (4). Essa plataforma possui ainda quatro colunas (6) rigidamente engastadas ao interior dos flutuantes (3) e (4). No interior dos flutuantes (1), (2), (3) e (4) terão septos (10) que formarão câmaras estanques, bem como vão enrijecer sobremaneira a estrutura da plataforma.
