Abstract

"ISOLADOR DE SUSPENSÃO COM UM PLUGUE DE VEDAÇÃO". A presente invenção referese ao isolador de suspensão que compreende uma saia isolante (1) de vidro de resfriamento brusco ou de porcelana, tendo uma face inferior em que um pino (3) é fixado por um aglutinante a base de cimento (4), um anel sacrificial (5) feito de zinco em contato com o aglutinante e circundando o pino e um plugue anular (7) de material eletricamente condutivo disposto entre a saia isolante e o anel sacrificial de tal maneira a prover vedação que impede a corrente de fuga de passar através do aglutinante. O plugue serve para evitar os fenômenos de corrosão do pino e o risco de explosão do isolador.
