Abstract

"INIBIDOR DE PROTEASE DE ASPARTIL COMO UM ALÉRGENO DE NEMATÓDEO". A presente invenção é amplamente dirigida a novos alérgenos de nematódeo (polipeptídios) e seqüências de aminoácido e nucleotídio associadas, incluindo fibras fundidas e variantes das mesmas para a identificação de animais que são capazes de se tornarem naturalmente resistentes a nematódeos. Em particular, a invenção concerne ao uso dessas moléculas para ajudarem na criação seletiva de animais capazes de se tornarem naturalmente resistentes a infecções por nematódeo. Mais particularmente, a invenção é dirigida ao uso de moléculas de ácido nucléico e polipeptídios, os quais são os mesmos ou variantes de inibidores de protease de aspartil (Tco-Aspin) de Trichostrongylus colubriformis; e/ou (Oc-Aspin) de Osterta na circumcincta; e/ou (Hc-Aspin) Haemonchus contorbus na identificação de animais que sejam inatamente mais dispostos a nematódeos.
