NOVAS SEQÜÊNCIAS DE GDF-9 E GDF-9B (BMP-15) PARA ALTERAÇÃO DA FUNÇÃO OVARIANA E DA TAXA DE OVULAÇÃO DE MAMÍFEROS". A presente invenção fornece composições e métodos para a modulação da taxa de ovulação e, portanto, da fertilidade, em mamíferos fêmeas incluindo humanos. A invenção também ser tem relação com mutações inéditas nos genes GDF-9 e GDF-9B que estão associadas com alterações na fertilidade.
