"PROCESSO DE CONECTAR PLÁSTICO A UMA SEÇÃO DE METAL E PEÇA FABRICADA POR MEIO DESTE". A presente invenção refere-se um processo de conectar um plástico a um substrato de metal e uma peça feita por meio deste processo. É provida uma seção de metal hidroformado que apresenta aberturas superior e inferior. Um componente de plástico é moldado em torno do componente de metal e através da abertura inferior. O componente de plástico inclui um flange em um lado do mesmo para prender o componente de plástico com o componente de metal.
