Um material laminado decorativo (10) inclui uma camada de base (12) de fibras selecionadas de um grupo que consiste de poliéster, polipropileno, polietileno, fibra de vidro, fibras naturais, náilon, rayon e misturas destes com uma densidade entre cerca de 0,5 pcf (8,0 kg/m^ 3^) e cerca de 15,0 pcf (240,3 kg /m^ 3^) e uma camada de revestimento (14) de fibras de poliéster com uma densidade entre cerca de 10 pcf (160,2 kg /m^ 3^) e cerca de 100 pcf (1.601, 8 kg/m^ 3^). A dita camada de revestimento tem uma face exposta (16) impressa (18).
