Abstract
"DIMETALIDRÓXI MALATOS". A presente invenção refere-se a composições de dimetalidróxi malato bem como métodos de administração e produção de tais composições biodisponíveis. O metal usado pode ser qualquer metal divalente nutricionalmente relevante tais como cálcio, magnésio, zinco, cobre, manganês, e ferro. A composição pode ser preparada por reação de ácido málico com um hidróxido ou óxido de metal divalente a uma razão molar de 1:2. A composição pode ser administrada a um animal de sangue quente por qualquer de numerosas rotas de fornecimento conhecidas, incluindo fornecimento oral.
