"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE OLANZAPINA". A invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de olanzapina, processo esse que consiste na N-metilação de 2-metil-4-piperazin-1-il-10H-tieno[2,3b][1,5]benzodiazepina. A invenção relaciona-se igualmente com um novo composto intermediário, 2-metil-4-(4formil-1-piperazinil)-10H-tienol(2,3-b][1,5]-benzodiazepina da fórmula III e com um processo para a sua preparação.
