São proporcionadas combinações de agente de expansão de espumas de trans-1,2-dicloroetileno e um ou mais pentanos, como também o são as pré-misturas e composições de espumas contendo essas combinações. As espumas resultantes apresentam uma dramática melhoria no que diz respeito à sua resistência ao fogo.
