Abstract

"ESTERÓIS ENCAPSULADOS QUE PODEM SER DISPERSADOS EM ÁGUA". A invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de um pó que pode ser dispersado em água que contém um ou mais esteróis. Este método envolve a criação de micelas que compreendem esterol e tensoativos em um meio aquoso, e o revestimento de tais micelas com uma mistura de amido e amido modificado em uma etapa de secagem. O pó seco pode ser adicionado de modo conveniente a formulações que possam ser comidas ou bebidas com base em água, permitindo dessa forma a administração do esterol de rebaixamento do colesterol em conjunto com uma dieta restrita de gorduras.
