Abstract

"FILTROS DE CIGARRO DE FIBRAS DE MICROCAVIDADE FORMATADAS IMPREGNADOS COM MATERIAIS AROMATIZANTES". Aromatizantes de tabaco carregados em microcavidades semi-abertas de fibras formatadas (22) adicionam aroma a fumaça de tabaco durante o processo de fumar. As fibras formatadas (22) são de múltiplos lóbulos com formato de capa final (30,32) que formam cavidades semi-abertas entre os lóbulos (30, 32) para efetivamente aprisionar materiais aromatizantes sólidos e líquidos. O material aromatizante pode estar em formas particuladas sólidas, tais como sólidos de mentol e carbono impregnado de mentol ou sílicas-géis, e podem também esta na forma líquida tal como metanol em formas dissolvidas ou fundidas.
