Nucleosídeo éster 5'-fosfato é produzido por cultivo de uma bactéria pertencendo ao gênero Escherichia tendo uma capacidade para produzir nucleosídeo éster 5'- fosfato, em que o gene ushA e o gene aphA não funcionam normalmente, em um meio para produzir e acumular nucleosídeo éster 5'- fosfato no meio e coleta do nucleosídeo éster 5'- fosfato do meio.
