Abstract
ELEMENTOS REGULADORES DE SLC26A4 E USOS DOS MESMOS. A presente invenção refere-se a promotores de SL26A4 e potencializadores de SLC26A4, bem como vetores contendo os mesmos, que podem ser usados para restringir a expressão gênica para células que expressam SLC26A4 e para aumentar a expressão gênica nessas células, tal como células interdentais, células radiculares, células de proeminência espiral e células de suporte vestibular. Os potencializadores de SLC26A4 e promotores de SLC26A4 descritos neste documento podem estar operacionalmente ligados a um polinucleotídeo, tal como um transgene, que codifica um produto de expressão heteróloga e usado para o tratamento de sujeitos com ou em risco de desenvolver perda auditiva ou disfunção vestibular.
