Abstract
ELEMENTOS REGULADORES DE GJB2 E USOS DOS MESMOS. A presente invenção refere-se a promotores e potenciadores da proteína beta 2 de junção comunicante (gap junction) (GJB2), bem como vetores contendo os mesmos, que podem ser usados para expressar um produto de expressão em células que expressam GJB2, incluindo células de suporte coclear. Os promotores e potenciadores de GJB2 descritos neste documento podem estar operacionalmente ligados a um polinucleotídeo, tal como um transgene que codifica uma forma do tipo selvagem de Gjb2, para o tratamento de indivíduos que têm ou estão em risco de desenvolver perda auditiva (por exemplo, perda auditiva relacionada a GJB2).
