Abstract
PROMOTORES DE ESTEREOCILINA E SEUS USOS.A presente invenção refere-se a promotores de estereocilina (STRC), bem como vetores contendo os mesmos, que podem ser usados para expressar um produto de expressão desejado em células ciliadas que expressam endogenamente STRC, incluindo células ciliadas cocleares e vestibulares. Os promotores de STRC descritos neste documento podem estar operacionalmente ligados a um polinucleotídeo, tal como um transgene, que codifica um produto de expressão heteróloga e são usados para o tratamento de indivíduos que têm ou estão em risco de desenvolver perda auditiva ou disfunção vestibular.
