Abstract

Um componente (8) adaptado para engatar com um receptor (6) tem uma matriz de almofadas de contatos (16) para conectar de forma removível a uma matriz correspondente de conectores (18) no receptor (6). Cada almofada de contato (16) da matriz é eletricamente conectada ao eletrodo (26) de um recesso ou poço (28) correspondente que faz parte de um sensor, em que uma membrana pode ser formada através de cada recesso. Uma grade condutiva (102) é configurada entre as almofadas de contato (16) da matriz, para inibir uma condução de descarga eletrostática (BSD) através dos recessos ou poços e/ou direcionar um BSD para longe do recesso ou poços.
