A helicase é anexada à fração de aglutinação ao polinucleotídeo e o construto tem a capacidade de controlar o movimento de um polinucleotídeo. Os construtos podem ser usados para controlar o movimento de polinucleotídeos e são particularmente usados para o sequenciamento de polinucleotídeos.
