In certain embodiments, the methods and compositions involve an antibody that binds Coagulase (Coa).TRADUÇÃO DO RESUMORESUMOPatente de Invenção: "COMPOSIÇÕES E MÉTODOS RELACIONADOS A ANTICORPOS QUE NEUTRALIZAM ATIVIDADE DE COAGULASE DURANTE DOENÇA POR STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS". A presente invenção refere-se a métodos e composições para tratamento ou prevenção de uma infecção bacteriana, particularmente infecção por bactéria Staphylococcus. Aspectos incluem métodos e composições para provisão de uma resposta imune passiva contra as bactérias, em certas modalidades, os métodos e composições envolvem um anticorpo que se liga à Coagulase (Coa).
