In 1949, Abril made the first trademark filing in its history. The following year, Pato Donald arrived on the newsstands and introduced the publisher to children. Then came Capricho (1951), to accompany first loves, and Quatro Rodas (1959), which started sharing conversations among car lovers. From early on, the magazines occupied the newsstand and continued inside the home, in the bedroom, in the living room.

The busiest year was 1998, when the publisher showed what it was about in the most diverse moments. Você S.A. was the career guide at the time clock, Casa Claudia and Arquitetura & Construção lived on architects’ desks, Vip Exame demanded attention on Saturdays, Boa Forma followed the routine at the gym and at the pharmacy. Super Surf, with its trademark filing in 2000, came to court the sea, and Bons Fluidos, from 2013, became a breathing break.

Much earlier, Veja, with its 1965 trademark filing, had already conquered the Sunday table and turned the country into conversation. Together, these brands tell the story of a publisher that entered Brazilian daily life through paper: read on the bus, stored in the trunk, passed from hand to hand.
